British 1888 Pattern Lee Metford Bayonet Set, good example of a pattern 1888 bayonet for the Lee Metford rifle, with the top pommel having regimental markings for the Manchester regiment. Bayonet is complete with its original scabbard with blackened lower chape, white buff leather frog and attached to the white buff leather waist belt with white metal snake fitting belt clasp. Two 1888 pattern shoulder straps also mounted to the set up. Various stampings to the equipment pieces.
