The silver trophy cup (Height excluding base 27cm), with engraving 'St Leonards Sea Angling Club, Annual open competitions, The "Blackman", Challenge cup'. Hallmarked James Dixon & Sons Ltd, Sheffield, 1922. Stood on a round base with the names of the winners over the years engraved on individually mounted silver plaques (some white metal). Together with a glazed framed photograph (58.5cm x 45cm) of the donor of the cup-Alderman Arthur Blackman, Mayor of Hastings. Total weighable silver 13.6ozt.
General age and handling wear, with marks and scratches to the base. Framed photograph also aged.
