A pair of 18th century Derby porcelain figure models: male and female figures (the 'Welch Taylor and his Wife') mounted upon goats, the female with a babe-in-arms and two further babies within a woven basket being carried upon her back, the male with two young kids within a similar height basket upon his back, the male also with two holstered pistols before him and the female example with a kid suckling, each piece finely picked out with gilt, incised mark to underside 'No 62' (the female 15cm to tip of hat x 9.75cm wide base)
