probably early 19th century, of two part construction with spout and sieve, the hook hallmarked with thistle and indistinct IL, the funnel in unmarked silver, approximately 13.5cm high and 94 grams

The hook may not be original to the piece. There is some solder repair to the spout, where it meets the wider part that attached to the sieve. Some general wear, nicks and small dents.
