An oak panel coffer. West Country, probably Somerset, 17th century, with a four panel lid above a guilloche and florette carved frieze above three panels with reverse scroll carved heart motifs, on stile ends, the internal candle box with a chip carved lid, height 63cm, width 134cm, depth 58cm.
