WW2 RAF Mk.IIIa Flying Goggles, 1940 Dated, RAAF Issue. A good pair of original Mk.IIIa flying goggles which have been manufactured by 'Stokes' for the Royal Australian Air Force. The Same construction as British made goggles but with a black cloth face cushion and a black leather nose bridge piece. The elasticed straps and leather tab with buckle are in good condition and stamped to the leather part 'RAAF'. The lenses are of plastic are per standard which are very clear and the metal frame work retains all of its black paint. One small screw on the frame has been lost. These remain a very good pair of displayible goggles with very minimal wear.
