A large group of WWI items including water bottles, revolvers, a pocket type revolver, stick grenade and Mills type hand grenade, luger type pistols, a pair of binoculars, trench spade and trowel, bayonets, a lamp, a cigarette case and a shoe, all excavated by the vendor at Ypres, together with part of the undercarriage of a Horsa Glider excavated in Arnhem, contained in a small metal trunk. (34) Provenance: from the private collection of a local collector, who was collating items for a museum.
