A George V Arts and Crafts silver christening tumbler cup by A. E.Jones, Birmingham 1933, hammered design, engraved Elizabeth Clare Whitehouse, 9th June 1934, 4x6cm. (1.5x2.3ins.), 108gms., (3.4ozs.) Albert Edward Jones (1878 - 1954) was an English silversmith and designer. He trained at the Birmingham School of Art under Edward R. Taylor and was for a period a Guildsman of the Birmingham Guild of Handicraft.
