1840-1900 QV Collection in two albums and a stockbook including 1d blacks (22, two apparently unused, seven fine with four margins, one of these on a large piece), 1840 2d blues (6, including a pair), 1841 1d mint (4, two with four margins) and used (100+, various identified plates from 8-165), 1841 2d strip of three, 1858-76 2d plate 13 mint, plate 15 Specimen and used partial reconstruction (125), 1864-79 1d plates 71-225 complete, 1870 ½d mint (2) and plate 9 used, useful Surface Printed with 1867-83 Maltese Cross 5/- - £1 (also 5/- Specimen, corner fault) and Anchor 5/-, 1880 2/- brown perfin "HDF", 1880-81 ½d, 1½d, 2d and 5d Specimen, 1888 Orbs £1 brown, 1883-84 4d and 9d Specimen, 1887-1900 ½d - 1/- mint (no 6d), etc., some faults though many better stamps are fine. Also a few KGV Seahorses; some foreign including Nova Scotia 1860 1c mint block of thirty; and literature (4) including "Penny Red Stars" by G.C Tonna. (100s). Photo on Page 38.
