A BEDJA ERITREAN KNIFE WITH 'X' FORM HANDLE. The knife having a 21 cm hooked blade sharpened to both edges and with a pointed tip. the blade on a bold carved 'X' form hardwood grip. In a worked leather scabbard with split side and bound edges. 33 cm. "The He Hadendoa people are a fair-skinned people of Arab origin who were driven from Egypt and Nubia in the 10th and 12th centuries".
