An 18th century Louis XV period miniature commode 'a tombeau', designed with ormolu-mounts and parquetry with bois de rose, tulipwood, and exotic woods, the serpentine top with quarter veneer top above a set of two short over two long drawers mounted with pierced gilt-bronze foliate handles and central escutcheons, flanked with pierced acanthus and harebell ormolu mounts, with a shaped apron splayed feet, 33 cm high x 47.5 cm wide x 27 cm deep, together with key and French expert document
