£150 - £250
A Bow porcelain kakiemon palette leaf shaped dish in the 'Two Quail' pattern, mid 18th century circa 1760, the underside with raised central stem, unmarked, 15.5cm wide, 5cm deep (at fault)
PROVENANCE: From the collection of Dr Christopher & Mrs Helen Girton
The dish shows worn flaked losses due to restoration, most noticeably to the base, the odd stain and the odd glazing fault to the rim. The foot rim shows wear commensurate with age and use. The interior shows wear including fine surface scratching, including to the gilt highlights and the red quail.
