Personally Signed by Willy Brandt (German 18 December 1913 - 8 October 1992) Was a German politician and statesman who was leader of the Social Democratic. Party of Germany (SPD) from 1964 to 1987 and served as the chancellor of West Germany from 1969 to 1974. Narrowly surviving the Nazis by escaping to Norway, the multilingual Brandt walked a tightrope as the mayor of Berlin - fearing attack from the Soviets while trying to coax support from the Western allies.
