Tonga, King Taufa'ahau (1965-2006), palladium 3-coin Set, 1967, celebrating the Coronation of Taufa'ahau Tupou IV, comprised of Hau, ½ Hau, ¼ Hau, struck in 0.9800 palladium, head right, small crowns around border, rev. crowned arms, edge lettering 'HISTORICALLY THE FIRST PALLADIUM COINAGE.', 112g (KM.MS2). All three coins graded and slabbed by NGC as MS69, TOP POP and accompanied by original box and certificate of issue. The first coinage ever struck in palladium, so of great significance to both numismatic and Tongan history.
