An early 20th century furnished blue roof dollhouse made for the French Market by Moritz Gottschalk, with lithographed red brick paper on each outer side wall, resting upon a marbleized wooden base. The interior comprises two rooms with original paper walls and floors. Dollhouse is 10 3/8" (26.5 cm) wide, 15 3/4" (40 cm) high (with base, excluding chimney), 6 1/2" (16.5 cm) deep. Fitted with several furnishings.
This dollhouse was presented in a French department store advertisement of 1905. The same dollhouse is featured in The Genius of Moritz Gottschalk book, page 75.
