Frederick (Fred) Roe (1864-1947) - '15th Century Parsonage House, Chesterton, Cambridgeshire in 1883', said to be signed and inscribed beneath the mount, also inscribed on a later label verso, pencil drawing, 10.25" x 12.75", also a companion 'The Back of the Fountain Inn, North Beach, Deal, Kent', signed, inscribed and dated September 1909, pencil drawing (a pair); together with five further pictures including two later engravings, Bath related, an oval pen, ink and watercolour showing Willow House and other houses in the village of Biddestone, Wiltshire, a further picture of Willow House and The Green, Biddestone bearing the name Lawrence Watts, a Continental scene with figures in a sunlit courtyard, indistinctly signed and dated 1955, possibly a tourist work, various sizes, each framed (7)
