A Chinese guan type moonflask, Yongzheng seal mark and possibly of the period Of circular form with short cylindrical neck, everted rim and two suspension loops to the shoulders, the foot rim pierced on each side, decorated with a pale blue-grey glaze suffused with a fine 'iron wire' crackle. 23cm high Property of a private collector in Surrey. Footnote:For comparison, a hexagonal guan vase with Qianlong seal mark and of the period with a near identical blue-grey glaze was sold in these rooms, 22 November 2017, lot 391, for £19,000 (+ fees).
