Ireland. 1932 (July 2) Cover from London to Maryborough, Queens Co, with London 1½d Paid machine, three enclosed letters from the Bank of England concerning the conversion of war loans, the cover handstamped "SPECIAL / AIR". Flights were made from London to Ireland on July 1st - 4th to deliver War Loan Conversion Notices, the covers receiving this "SPECIAL / AIR" cachet. Only commercial covers without stamps were carried and very few covers were therefore kept. Light vertical fold and minor creasing, otherwise fine and scarce. Photo on Page 8.
