A CHINESE EXPORT LACQUERED GAMES BOX. 19th century, of octagonal form containing seven lidded compartments and six card trays, a few mother of pearl playing counters and a quantity of hand-written notes in Chinese and English, on carved paw feet, height 13cm, width 37cm, depth 31cm.
Damage to lid and section needing regluing, surface wear to gilding and lacquer, minor losses.
