The vendor of this item had always assumed it was worn by Kurt Russell in the film elvis as it was part of the Dick Clark estate which was sold off. Please read the description which was originally given.
the following description is from the original auction catalogue from Guernseys auction in America.
"The replica white caped costume created by b&k enterprises is in the style worn by Elvis Presley after he had transitioned from rock and roll bad boy to bona fide las vegas star. Typical of this period to his career, the elaborate brilliant white one piece jumpsuit, complete with an attached cape and a white leather-like belt is covered with large faceted gold-toned metallic studs in a sunburst pattern. The complete outfit, with a zippered front, is trimmed in parts with a brilliant in parts with a brilliant red satin material, including the inner linings of the cape and the slits on the bell bottom pant legs. The over sized belt is fully 4 inches wide with large gold toned metallic medallions fashioned as lions heads and connected with gold-toned chains. It is likely that this was used in the Dick Clark produced feature film about the life of elvis"
