A pair of Victorian silver goblets, possibly James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield 1864, each of typical form on knopped stem and circular foot, embossed with repeat floral motifs and beaded borders with vacant diamond shaped cartouche, gilt interiors, each 16cm high, gross weight 13.70ozt (at fault)
Both stems have been previously broken and subsequently repaired. Both feet show moderate denting. One of the feet shows small areas of splitting. Some denting to the highpoints of detail on the cups. Both show light scratching and wear throughout. Gilt interior in good order, possibly restored. Heavy wear to the hallmarks. Some loss of definition to the details. Both examples are leaning slightly. See pictures for illustration.
