A Chinese coloured poster of West Lake, Hangzhou, early 20th century. Part of the long inscription reads 'The North of the Jinmen of Hong Kong passes through the new market, along the Qiantang Gate, passes through the Gelan of the Zhaoqing Temple, enters the Yuefen, enters Lingzhu, and ends of the North Peak. However, the scenery of lakes and mountains in the past and the present is unique, and the scenic spots and famous areas are changing from day to day. The company spares no effort to take a huge photo of the current scenery. It is made and published in weekly editions for the sake of all friends and new horizons. It is published by Zhengxing Art Studio in Maijiayuan, Shanghai Concession'. 54 x 79.5cm. This poster is unframed and rolled. There is one crease running from top to bottom.  Some other creases to the poster plate, but doesn't detract too much. Small edge of paper creases and very minute tears. Some faint paper discolouration.
