A BRONZE DOOR KNOCKER IN THE SHAPE OF NANDI BULL, POSSIBLY TAMIL NADU, SOUTH INDIA, 17TH - 18TH CENTURY
A bronze head features intricate detailing, from the expressive eyes and curled horns to the delicate floral motifs on the backplate. The knocker ring is firmly held in the bullÕs nostrils.
