A late 18th century Dutch brass bound kingwood necessaire, with gilt brass mounts, the lid opening to reveal an internal mirror, a pair of gilt glass scent bottles, scent flask and manicure tools, width 8.5in. height 4.75in.
CONDITION: Overall in clean restored condition, the lid slightly ill fitting, interior with original now faded and stained fabric lining, missing a thimble and a manicure tool, scent bottles with minor rubbing to the gilding.
