A beautiful heavy pair of solid brass collectable bookends in the form of the doors to the library of congress, marked to the back 'Humanitas' and the to the other is marked 'Intellectus', the pair if made by Virginia metal crafters inc, dated 1984. The pieces are very nicely cast and have a substantial weight of 3.81kg, they have a height of 19.5cm each, with a width of 9.5cm.
