ReQuest Audio ‘F-Series’ Music Server
A ReQuest Audio ‘F-Series’ Music Server, designed and manufactured in Ballston Spa, New York, USA, a high-end digital media storage and distribution component intended for integrated home audio systems.
The front panel with brushed metal finish, power and status indicators, LCD display, CD drive, and removable ‘QuickSwap’ hard drive cartridge (labelled Serious Play v6.4.2.4681 – full NAS & movie support). Rear with extensive connectivity including VGA and DVI video outputs, multiple analogue and digital audio outputs (optical, coaxial), component and composite video, USB 2.0, Ethernet, and serial control ports.
Supplied with key for drive lock and fitted IEC mains socket with cooling fan. The display powers on with the ReQuest welcome screen and begins a disk check sequence (unit otherwise untested).
Condition: light age related surface wear to casing, no remote. Internal cd tray button (under front cover) is working however external button not functioning
