Various ceramics,19th century and modern; to include a 19th century Japanese porcelain bachelor's teapot modelled as a melon and hand decorated in the Imari palette
Condition Report: The spout looks in good condition as is the teapot body. The decoration is crisp and C shaped handle appears good with no restorations noted. There is a small triangular firing hole to the underside to the handle at the top, the foot rim looks good with some evidence of kiln grit to the underside as expected. The cover is affixed to the top of the handle of the teapot by a small chain and looks in reasonable order except for a 'minor' chip to the inside of the lip rim.
