WW2 RAF Portable Oxygen Bottle, 1940 Dated. A fair example of the early Mk1a portable oxygen bottle as used by aircrews leaving their stations within the aircraft. The bottle is in original condition with the white text to the bottle still visible. The brass mount between the bottle and the gauge/socket is nicely stamped with the 'AM' and crown with stores code '71396/40'. The gauge has had a knock to the edge but the glass remains intact. The bakelite operating knob has broken. A good piece of seldom seen flying equipment. Due to the nature of this item we can not offer our in house shipping service.
