A rosewood and mother of pearl inlaid work box. 19th century, with a hinged top opening to a silk-lined top compartment, front cupboard doors opening to three graduated drawers, the bottom fitted with a writing slope and two inkwells, with turned wood handles, raised on four metal ball feet, complete with a key, height 32cm, width 33cm, depth 26cm.
