A Second World war period Japanese Katana sword, with leather wrapped grip and bamboo scabbard, length of blade to hilt 78cm, brass and copper mounts.
Handle cover fixed so blade cannot be removed to look at tang. Some movement to guard, small damage splitting to top of bamboo scabbard, wear to leather surfaces. Blade in good condition signs of light use.
