A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE BOWL with heaped and piled decoration of floral sprays, the reverse similarly decorated with a key pattern rim, the circular foot with a six character Kangxi mark in underglaze blue, 25.5cm dia.

The Estate of the late Sir David and Lady Black, removed from Beech Farm. This bowl was part of the remarkable collection of Asian ceramics assembled by the late Roger Pilkington, sold at Sotheby's Hong Kong, 5 April 2016 for a total of HKD$ 502,772,500 (£45,767,353).
