1. Caterpillar Club badge, in gold with Ruby eyes, extremely fine, engraved to Sgt. S.T. Howard., in original presentation box, the recipients son recalls the story his father Stanley Thomas Howard told him, it was a training flight where Sgt Thomas (Navigator) and his crew had to bale out of their Lancaster due to engine failure, an on going joke from the crew was that the engineer had inadvertently turned off the fuel cocks, also present with the Caterpillar badge is an original document given to attendees at the first reunion of the Caterpillar Club hosted by Irving Air Chute with Sgt Howard 100 Squadron listed on page 3. Sgt Thomas was also listed in The London Gazette to be awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (not present) copy of London Gazette entry.
2. QSA with 4 clasp Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal, South Africa 1901 to 21165 Tpr: F.W. Howard. 76th Coy Imp: Yeo:, some discolouration otherwise extremely fine.
