Very rare Glass Plate Negatives, 1930 British and I Lions v Australia (15): A super group of 15 glass plate negatives of the Australia v British Lions Rugby Test Match, Sydney Cricket Ground, New South Wales, 30 August 1930, etc.�Professional action shots of play with large crowds of spectators in the stands, three examples with pencil inscriptions to upper margins, two with 'Eng. v. Aus., Rugby Union' (and one sleeve similarly marked, dated 30 August), and one with 'Eng. v NSW'. All 8 x 10.5 cm, contained in the (somewhat soiled) original card box of 'Imperial Dry Plate Negatives'. Plus two contact prints sheets of the actual press action shots.
