An original abstract wooden block built picture by Cuban artist Wifredo Arcay titled 'Luza 1957' using cut out pieces of wood to create the art, hand signed to the side of one of the wooden blocks, it is signed to the back with the address of Arcay and the title of the picture.
The picture has a label to the back which gives the picture some provenance: The label reads L. Granville Grossman, who are multi millionaire collectors from America with the packing and transport company of The Pantechnicon Heathfield Terrace.
The vendor has stated that this artwork was purchased from the contents auction for Barings Bank after its collapse in the 1990's.
This artists work as been sold for prices ranging from £5000 to £52000, selling in some of the UK's top auction houses. The piece measures 36cm high and 116cm long
