A two-handled tureen of urn form and with cover and stand. Together with two large matching plates of square form, each piece hand-gilded and centrally decorated in enamels with a wild rose. Red pattern mark (1381) to underside of plates and tureen. (3)

Condition Report: Two cake plates - there are some scratches to the centre of the plate on the glaze and where the sides are rising from the flat surface the ridges are slightly more worn/gilding is away. The central decoration appears good. 1st plate underside is dirty but no cracks or chips noted, 2nd plate similar but worn 'ridges' as before. Both plates have the red painted '01381' mark. Tureen stand - some scratches on the flat recessed circular area, gilding generally good, quite a thin, dark hairline 8cm around the edge of the circular foot. The tureen cover has a matchhead sized piece away to the end of the inner lip (near the spoon hole), the gilding and decoration is good. The finial is dirty but no restorations of problems noted. The two-handled tureen has bright gilding to the outside, there is a large hairline to be seen to the underside (1cm from the handle, approx 8cm long) visible from the inside correspondingly, the circular foot has the same red painted '01381' and decoration is good, some glaze crazing to the underside of the bowl, handle appears in good order.
