Harley-Davidson manufactures some of the most iconic and famous motorcycles in the world, one of which being the Sportster range, a smaller, compact more aggressive bike than the large cruisers and tourers which they were known for. The Sportster timeline dated back to 1957, with the product code XL range and in two engine sizes, 883 and 1200cc.
This 1987 Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 was originally an 883, the engine having being recently rebuilt and converted into a 1200cc engine, a common conversion. The bike has more recently been overhauled with new brake pads, starter motor, speedo and new front tyre. We are advised by the vendor the bike starts and runs very well. The Harley is ready to ride, with an MoT to October 2025.
