With their unique blend of styling, technology and GP-quality components, Confederate’s products emphatically back their maker’s claim. Founded in 1991 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana by Matt Chambers, Confederate Motor Company set out to create motorcycles “utilizing a holistic, avant-garde process for celebrating the art of rebellion.” It is an approach that has given Confederate a public profile out of proportion to its relatively small size. The company has achieved more than one land speed record at the Bonneville Salt Flats.

“The bike looks sinister, purposeful and weapon-like, sort of the .357 Magnum of two-wheelers.” Cycle World’s Senior Editor Paul Dean. The backbone frame houses a 124ci S&S V-Twin engine producing 140bhp and a stump-pulling 145 lb-ft of torque. An eclectic mix of styles, eras and disciplines, there is absolutely no confusing the Confederate Hellcat for any other motorcycle.Under 50 are known to have been made, a number of which were destroyed (along with the tooling) in Hurricane Katrina, so no more will be produced.

This 2004 Confederate F124 Hellcat 3200was part of a prominent US car and motorcycle collection until being acquired by the current vendor in 2007. Regularly serviced, the Hellcat has approximately 2,700 miles recorded. Mostly kept in the owner’s holiday home in Spain, the Hellcat has previously been maintained by bike specialist GAM Motos and KG Bikes in Majorca. Our vendor advises us that the Hellcat’s oil and filters are regularly changed, the primary carbon belt drive was renewed in recent years, and more recently the throttle return cable has been replaced.

Offered with a current UK V5C, MoT certificate valid to May 2025, and older receipts for maintenance, this is an incredibly rare, hugely powerful and challenging bike for the true collector.
