A pair of Barr & Stroud 7x CF50 binoculars formerly the property of Mr Willam Murfitt:, black crackle finish tubes in a leather case stamped ' W M Murfitt, Risby , Suffolk', together with a copy of Williams, D 'Poison Farm. A Murderer Unmasked' (2) *Notes- Willam Murfitt was a keen horse racing enthusiast who lived an active lifestyle. He was poisoned and died on 17th May 1938. The true identity of the murderer was not known until some 60 years later.
