1879 Tender Essay. Very fine paste-up essay in pink for a ½d design lettered AA, produced using the portrait cut from an existing stamp with only the border being a new design. Both pieces mounted on a piece of stout white card (41x42mm). Believed to have been submitted by McCorquodale.
