£1,350
1936 Wreath Crown, George V (ESC 381, Bull 3649, S.4036). Graded NGS MS64, UNC, with attractive grey toning over soft lustre and presented in a Coinery Collection holder. 1936 crowns are notoriously difficult to find at the highest level demonstrated by the fact that just 8 sit at MS64 across both US graders, with only one coin certified higher. One of just 2,473 coins struck and perhaps the scarcest year offered to open market after the 1934.
