The Zigolo was manufactured between 1953 and 1966. The early models had a 98 cc engine until 1958. Originally, the Zigolo was sold without chrome parts. Even the handlebars were painted grey. In 1954, the Turismo was introduced as part of a model update. Technical details include a kerb weight of 75 kg and a top speed of almost 50mph, 3-speed gearbox, fuel tank with a capacity of 13. 5 litres, horizontal single-cylinder two-stroke engine.
XWA was purchased by our vendor in 2023 as a project which he has completed to concours standard. Every single part has been stripped and either overhauled or replaced, this includes the engine.
He now has another project he is working on and this bike is taking up useful space.
