An original ceramic poppy from the ‘Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red’ exhibition at The Tower of London, to commemorate 100 years since the outbreak of the First World War. Designed by Tom Piper and the ceramic artist Paul Cummings, in original box with certificate etc. together with a Passchendaele 100 poppy pin commemorating the life of Rifleman JT Herrmann of Rifle Brigade, died 15/10/1917, made from some of the million shell casings collected after the war, in presentation box etc.
