A pair of Chinese porcelain tea bowls, Guangxu (1875–1908), each of fluted circular form and painted to the exterior flora and fauna, iron-red seal mark to the undersides, 6cm high, with a Japanese celadon koro and cover, 10cm high, and a Japanese Imari dish, 15.5cm diameter (4)
One tea bowl shows a small chip, further nibbles, a small glazing fault and rubbing to the gilt of the rim. The other shows nibbles and rubbing to the rim. Both shows pits and frits to the interiors, and surface wear to the exteriors, but no obvious cracks, crazing or evidence of restoration.
The koro shows crazing throughout and a small unglazed frit to the cover, but no cracks or evidence of restoration.
The Imari plate shows no chips, cracks, crazing or evidence of restoration.
