LONDON - FANCY RED HANDSTRUCK "3" MARKS (2 TYPES) - ONE WITH LARGE BOXED "NOTICE" MARK; 24 Aug. 1859 local London Notice EL with mainly v. fine large red boxed "NOTICE" and matching 'curly' Handstruck "3" in red (of Charing Cross; 3d Notice rate prepaid in cash - closed pin hole) on the front [illustrated in BPPP, p.309]. Plus similar smaller 23 Aug. 1859 Notice EL sent from London to Tenterden (blue backstamp with Staplehurst cds alongside on flap) with mainly v. fine red 'curly' Handstruck "3" (of London E.C. office; different to the previous cover) alone on the front.
