DISINFECTED CEPHALONIA TRIO: 7 Nov. 1826 EL (small faults) to Corfu ex Syra via Cephalonia with double ring "ISOLA DI CEPHALONIA" hs on front and ms endorsed (in Italian) "Witnessed that this was smoked and paid by the addressee."; 27 Aug. 1830 pair of ELs (dated same day; smaller enclosed within the larger) both dated at Anatolia carried privately to Syra and then by an agent to Cephalonia, the outer EL heavily scorched, awl-punched and resealed with a red paper wafer, rated '9'(d) and with "OFFICIO CENTRALE DI SANITAS/CEFALONIA" hs applied inside the rear flap; the enclosed letter also bears a red wafer seal and matched awl-punctures.
