Impressive Satinwood and Walnut Rolling Moon Long case clock : an 8 day 13'' break arch rolling moon painted dial, with 5 minute minute markers and Roman Numeral hours, inset seconds dial at 12, calendar dial within hour marker ( no hand!) , the break arch painted with a three masted ship moored at night and classical landscape with figure and building, day , the hand painted spandrels depicting the four seasons of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter , the hood with swan neck pediment terminating in inlaid rosettes , 2 shaped column sides and 2 half shaped column back sides , and shaped topped long door satinwood crossbanded and ebony stringing with oval inlay to door, 1/4 column sides, canted corners to the plinth and bracket feet, 94 1/4'' high Please Note - we do not make reference to the condition of lots within catalogue descriptions.
