A carved oak footstool, in the Gothic taste, with padded leatherette top, with carved foliate decoration and initial G to the apron, on four square chamfered legs linked by stretchers, 31.5cm wide.
Over all condition is good. The leatherette top is in good order with no splits or tears. The frame is also in good order with no signs of any repairs or restoration. Gilding to the canted corners is worn and rubbed. Bears a carved monogramme G or G R. There are no signs of any repairs or restoration.
