The bulbous base pierced, slip trailed with cream flowers against moss green reserves and the slender trumpet neck edged in gilt, bearing impressed mark ‘Wedgwood’.

N.B. the young Harry Sheldon got to know Harry Barnard well and is said to have regarded him as a Professor whilst being called upon to deliver Wedgwood pieces too big for the now elderly man to carry home.
