A PAIR OF TALL CYLINDRICAL YELLOW BISCUIT ‘BAMBOO’ HAT STANDS, CIRCA 1900
Each carved and painted as a bundle of thin bamboo sticks tied with a blue string, the mottling of the bamboo rendered in black, both hat stands moulded to one side with twin fish and a musical stone hanging by a double string from a bat, picked out in green and aubergine enamels.
