The spring-loaded ring exhibits some wear commensurate with age and upon close inspection it is visible that wear has occurred to the inside of the ring culminating in a 'U' shape; it also noted that the next ring connected to this spring-loaded ring clasp has been worn and under a loupe some small dents are noted. The main chain appears in good overall condition with interesting decoration of double stars on the links and the end; circular link also exhibits some wear (please see images)
